I love Hybryds. Their music is a living being that has embraced influences and bits of many cultures, many types of genres, many different approaches, and of course, many years of performing and putting out records. They are perfect in a live setting—loud and hypnotizing—especially when you see them for the first time.

But now I’m looking at the Zoharum CD re-issue of their first-ever tape, Mythical Music from the 21st Century—a cult record that is now approaching its thirtieth anniversary as it was originally published in 1986. Once again, I absolutely love Hybryds and the sonic universe they have dedicated decades to creating, but no record in the year 2013 should have such terrible artwork!
